THE EYE OF JACQUES ESPIERRE

The Eye Of Jacques Espierre was the series of 48 photos that originally counted as the final exam for Ghost’s photography course in 2016. Street photography combined with quotes from plays by William Shakespeare, which Ghost became acquainted with during his previous theater training and became a big fan of. At that time, the joke arose among fellow students that Shakespeare was actually an Antwerp native called Jacques Espierre. However, the teacher in question – an incredibly stupid cow – didn’t understand what it was all about, resisted enormously during the assignment, and in the end gave Ghost only 51/100 as a final score. With the heels over the ditch, as they say. Ghost didn’t let it get to his heart and reworked his pictures into a real photo book. In this series you can see some of the photos from that book.
